ORIGINALLY AIRED 4 APRIL 2012: In this Gospel Revolution podcast, Mike Williams and Glenn Klein started out the conversation about how Mike first started preaching the Gospel in the early ’80’s and it boiled down to a concept of we were all sinners because of the sin of Adam and we were all made righteous because of the righteousness of the Last Adam (Jesus Christ). Our guest on this podcast was Ivan Rogers, the author of the book “Dropping Hell and Embracing Grace.” Ivan has been a pastor for over 60 years and now is 82 years young. For decades, Ivan taught the commonly accepted message of evangelical Christianity that taught a fear of hell. Ivan was quite gracious and revealing in explaining some of Christianity’s history with a doctrine of hell and the final outcome of the interview resulted in the subject that “all” were condemned by one man and “ALL WERE REDEEMED BY ONE MAN!” Thanks also to our first-time caller, Brad Wilson and his wife Holly of San Tan Valley, AZ, for their encouragement and gratitude for our work in continuing to get the message of the Gospel out to the world!

In this Gospel Revolution podcast, Glenn Klein and Mike Williams kicked of the 2012 Start of Spring Pledge Drive with all the reasons why someone should not religiously pledge to support our efforts. Not exactly a way to manipulate someone to give, but just the way we like it. It does take supporters to cover the thousands of dollars it costs every year to provide hundreds of hours of free podcasts and other things we do to get the Gospel out, but we don’t manipulate anyone at all. That’s unfortunately the tactic of the many internationally known ministries mentioned in this podcast. We want to thank Howard Wirch of Dauphin, Manitoba for sharing a little diddy of a re-rendered version of “Jesus Loves Me” and his financial contribution as well. We also want to thant Marcus Deel of Kihei, Hawaii on the great island of Maui for contributing to the show as the devil’s advocate. Special thanks also to Peggy and Jesse Zuniga for calling in from Waterfield, Maryland for sharing their love of the Gospel and also making a financial pledge.

In this Gospel Revolution podcast, Mike Williams and Glenn Klein open the show with a commentary on a joke gone bad by an Australian interviewer who tried to tell the Dalai Lama a joke about “being made one.” The poor interviewer flopped because the Dalai Lama, even with the help of a translator didn’t get the gist of the joke. Mike picked up on the theme of “One” and related it to and equation of “One” found in the Gospel. That equation is simply that one man, Adam, sinned, and the One Man, The Last Adam, Jesus obeyed. That is the ultimate equation because through the first Adam’s sin, all were dead in him, but all who were dead in the first Adam were made alive in the Last Adam. We were raised in him and made one. Not only one with everything, but one with God. Ergo the title: Flood of Righteousness. That flood came through the flood of grace for all humanity in the work of Christ by the grace of God. That grace brought righteousness and grace, like a flood of water poured into every crevice of every rock and and unreachable place to NO END and brought righteousness to humanity and all creation. We want to thank Jan Heller of Mt. Horeb, Wisconsin, Kookie Davida of Castor, Alberta, and Marjorie House of Fenelon Falls, Ontario for calling in and contributing so much more. We also want to send out a special thanks to Moses Ngata of Kenya, who walks over 40 miles (60 kilometers) just to get internet access and listen to the Gospel Revolution. Moses has been a priceless contributor to the Gospel and this revolution!

In this Gospel Revolution podcast, Mike and Glenn discussed a number of emails. This podcast was broadcast live just a day after singer and song writer Whitney Houston, who died yesterday, February 11th, 2012, and we discussed her righteousness and her Christian background. We were sad and proud to honor Whitney on this show. We had an email from Scott Jonsson of Anchorage, Alaska who asked if the scriptures were inspired by God. Moses Ngata of Nairobi, Kenya sent a great question about who was redeemed at the cross. We also received an email from Paul in the U.K., Dave Bodgess, and a man named Greg who asked about why we keep sinning, to which Mike answered we don’t sin and explained why.

In this Gospel Revolution podcast, Greg Amburgy of Maineville, Ohio called in to kick off the show. Greg was talking about a post he received on Facebook from a preacher who said something to the effect that even if we’re not sure there is a hell, doesn’t it make sense to accept Jesus so as not to be surprised when we die? Kind of like…flood insurance:>/ Well, that’s a religious way to look at it. Greg also posted that his son, Adam, was sick with a stomach bug, to which someone replied they were praying for him. This also cause Greg a little pause for thought. A stomach flu tends to run it’s course in a day or two. Wouldn’t it be better to be praying for all the children that are malnourished in 3rd world countries? This then led to Greg making a comment about Christians’ view of the character and nature of God. On that note, Jeff Robertson of Lake Panasoffkee, Florida called to discuss the subject of the character and nature of God. Jeff pointed out that in his dealings with Evangelical Christians, they cite the law of Moses as reflecting God’s character and nature as a “just God”. However, God’s behavior throughout the Old Testament defied the nature of the Law. We also received a few emails from Jeremy Southern of Abbotsford, British Columbia. He asked about a verse in Jeremiah about the human heart being deceptive.

Thanks also to George Najjar for calling in from Ohio. We learned a lot about relationships. The key that comes from the freedom of the Gospel is once you embrace yourself, you can embrace others. Thank you all for calling and listening. </itunes:summary>
