In this week's Powercast, Beres Bartlett interviews two special guests. Cari and Jimmy McCollum were our guests on the show this week. They shared their individual experiences in Christianity and also the changes and developments in their lives since embracing the gospel of grace and peace.
In this week's Powercast, Mike Williams discuss their time at the 2016 Gospel Revolution Winter Conference in Calgary and an email we received from Jody Leis in Elmyra, Ontario. We also had a special guest who shared with us his transition from his Pentecostal church background to the knowledge of the gospel. His name is Tony Blackman from Mobile, Alabama.
This week, Mike and Beres had to prepare for the upcoming 2016 Winter Conference in Calgary, so we're offering you session from a series only available through a download. This is the fifth session of the eight sessions in the download series "Hebrews Revealed and Debunked." This session covers chapters 9 and 10 of the Letter to the Hebrews and is a cornerstone to understanding the gospel and the work of the cross.
In this week's Powercast, Mike Williams and Beres Bartlett take questions again from our listeners. We heard from Bernie Rouse in Michigan who asked if 2 Thessalonians was possibly written by someone other than the apostle Paul. We also heard back from Wayne Card with another question also about Paul.
In our first Powercast of 2016, Mike Williams and Beres Bartlett respond to a message from a new listener, Wayne Card, who asked a question about the Judgment Seat of Christ the apostle Paul referred to in II Corinthians. Mike points out the demarcation of the gospel of peace and the terror of the Lord that Paul depicts in that passage.
Happy New Year! We are ushering in 2016 with this final Powercast of 2015. In this final episode of the year, Mike Williams and Beres Bartlett discuss a few messages we received recently. They then talk about what their identity was in traditional Christianity compared to where they are now in light of knowing the gospel. It boils down to a comparison between a religious identity and a new creation identity.
Merry Christmas! In this week's Christmas Powercast, Beres Bartlett reads an email we received this week to Mike Williams and they discuss much of what was said in the email. The subjects of God's anger before the cross and what is different now after the cross were discussed. The most poignant, thought provoking moment is when Mike points out that if God could resolve his anger towards humanity, now that we are joined with God because of the cross, that gives us hope to find peace with ourselves - each other.
This week, the Gospel Revolution Powercast is a special excerpt from a teaching series recorded at a conference in Gainesville, Georgia entitled "Redemption of the World (2013). This was an updated series Mike Williams did after his original series nearly a decade before of the same title. In this particular session, Mike hits on all the basics of the redemption of all humanity and compares them to how they are presented in traditional Christianity. You can find the link to this entire series on our website.
In the Gospel Revolution Powercast this week, Mike Williams and Beres Bartlett begin talking about blasphemy and the so-called "unpardonable sin." The conversation then moves on to what our unity with God and one another means.
Happy Thanksgiving to all Gospel Revolutionaries in America! In this week's Powercast, Mike Williams and Beres Bartlett discuss dualism and come to an exciting epiphany while going through a passage from Ephesians. In this episode it is made quite clear that the gospel is the only thing that identifies dualism, and that dualism in all its applications is the perception of others who don't think the same as yourself as "evil."
In this week's Powercast, Mike Williams and Beres Bartlett continue to discuss dualism. In this episode, we find there is an external and an internal form of dualism. The subject of locations across the planet considered to be holy places by one sect or another came up and there was a gospel answer to that. Listen to find out more.
In this week's Powercast, Mike Williams and Beres Bartlett answer a listener's question about spirits and the dead. The conversation moves on to an interesting demonstration of dualism with heaven and hell doctrine and then the doctrine of what is called a "holy war."
In this week's Powercast, Mike Williams and Beres Bartlett take their time to address an email sent to Mike and the Gospel Revolution. The anonymous emailer believes the gospel Mike Williams and the Gospel Revolution proclaim is "anti-Christ" and also says that the Apostle Paul was anti-Christ. Mike and Beres don't hold back in their responses to the emailer's claims.
In this week's Powercast, Mike Williams and Beres Bartlett discuss the origins of the word heresy and found it simply means someone who chooses to think a certain way. In that respect, all proponents of the gospel are heretics. We also get a bit of a history lesson on the early Catholic church and orthodoxy.
The title of this week's Powercast is probably confusing to most of you. That's because is Greek to you and Greek to us too! Mike Williams and Beres Bartlett discuss the term "Antinomianism", which was coined a few hundred years ago to condemn Christian sects who didn't observe certain Biblical laws. Antinomian means "against law," which we are not. The Gospel Revolution respects the law of the scriptures and its place in history. There is, however, a difference. We do not "fragment" the law as Jesus said he also would not do. Jesus said he came to fulfill it and we spread the good news that he did. This Powercast is a defining moment in the separation of the gospel from the myriad of creeds in the quasi Christian world from fundamentalism to universalism. You also don't want to miss what we heard this week from Steve Davis in California and Bill Couch in Tennessee.
Mike Williams and Beres Bartlett are back in this week's Powercast. Mike and Beres covered some current stories in the news. We also got to hear from Steve Davis in California, Paul Viggers in England and Danny Rogers in Canada. Their inquiries ranged from God's provision to the heart, soul, spirit and mind, to dealing with a medical condition.
In this week's special Powercast you get a unique, behind-the-scenes look at the making of "ONE - The Gospel According to Mike." This recording was used for chapter content in the book. Mike explains what the New Creation is and is not in regards to conventional Christian doctrine.
In this week's Gospel Revolution, Mike Williams returns in full health and vigor with Beres Bartlett. We got to hear from so many people who give their own testimonials of the reality of the gospel message in their own hearts and minds. We heard from Jodi Leis in Ontario, Canada, Vic' d'Obrenan in Alberta, Canada, Steve Davis in California, Adrianne Billing in Alberta, Canada as well as another friend who returned to the Gospel Revolution and all proving that you cannot un-ring the truth of the gospel once that bell has rung in your hearing.
Due to Mike being ill this week with some sort of stomach virus, this week's Powercast is a special episode taken from a teaching series Mike presented some years ago. This episode is the last of three sessions from the series "The Faith of God." In it, Mike discusses Paul's exclusive claims about the faith of God and the faith of Christ and takes a popularly known statement from Paul and puts it back into the powerful context Paul wrote it in.
