In this week’s Powercast, Mike Williams and Beres Bartlett have a special return guest, Grant Miller. Grant is the author of Think and Be Free, a book he wrote as his thinking had gone through changes from the Christian paradigms he was raised with to understanding the gospel of peace and grace. A few years after writing his book, Grant had a motorcycle accident and lost the lower part of one of his legs. He spoke of “phantom pain”, which is something he was familiar with after the amputation and related it to left-over feelings of religious guilt long after coming to understanding the gospel.
In this week's Powercast, Mike Williams and Beres Bartlett continue The Gospel of Peace series with why the gospel of peace is fundamentally important and a stand-alone pillar of the gospel itself. We also got to hear from Wayne Leis in Ontario, Canada and Derek Hensel in New Hampshire.
PLEASE NOTE WE WILL NOT BE USING THIS SITE MUCH A LONGER. All powercasts will be available from now on at GospelRevolution.com
This week, Mike and Beres responded to questions and statements from John McLeod, James Gustafson, Vic d'Obrenan and Gordon Dorfer, all of Canada. Mike and Beres also discussed some of the dualistic concepts of other religions, primarily Buddhism.
In this week's Powercast, we heard from Paul Viggers in England. Mike and Beres then began discussing the scriptural basis for hell and for heaven. It turns out hell is not something that was ever mentioned in the scriptures and heaven is not what the modern Christian concept of heaven is.
In this week's Gospel Revolution Powercast, Mike Williams and Beres Bartlett give us an update on the Gospel Revolution happening in Kenya thanks to Moses Ngata. We also got to hear from a bunch of people with great questions and comments including Philip Briattan, Jody Leis, Jeff Cosford, Wayne Card, Vic d'Obrenan, and Ethan (no surname given). There's lots of condensed gospel insight in this Powercast!
In this week's Powercast, Beres Bartlett interviews two special guests. Cari and Jimmy McCollum were our guests on the show this week. They shared their individual experiences in Christianity and also the changes and developments in their lives since embracing the gospel of grace and peace.
In this week's Powercast, Mike Williams discuss their time at the 2016 Gospel Revolution Winter Conference in Calgary and an email we received from Jody Leis in Elmyra, Ontario. We also had a special guest who shared with us his transition from his Pentecostal church background to the knowledge of the gospel. His name is Tony Blackman from Mobile, Alabama.
This week, Mike and Beres had to prepare for the upcoming 2016 Winter Conference in Calgary, so we're offering you session from a series only available through a download. This is the fifth session of the eight sessions in the download series "Hebrews Revealed and Debunked." This session covers chapters 9 and 10 of the Letter to the Hebrews and is a cornerstone to understanding the gospel and the work of the cross.
In this week's Powercast, Mike Williams and Beres Bartlett take questions again from our listeners. We heard from Bernie Rouse in Michigan who asked if 2 Thessalonians was possibly written by someone other than the apostle Paul. We also heard back from Wayne Card with another question also about Paul.
In our first Powercast of 2016, Mike Williams and Beres Bartlett respond to a message from a new listener, Wayne Card, who asked a question about the Judgment Seat of Christ the apostle Paul referred to in II Corinthians. Mike points out the demarcation of the gospel of peace and the terror of the Lord that Paul depicts in that passage.
Happy New Year! We are ushering in 2016 with this final Powercast of 2015. In this final episode of the year, Mike Williams and Beres Bartlett discuss a few messages we received recently. They then talk about what their identity was in traditional Christianity compared to where they are now in light of knowing the gospel. It boils down to a comparison between a religious identity and a new creation identity.
Merry Christmas! In this week's Christmas Powercast, Beres Bartlett reads an email we received this week to Mike Williams and they discuss much of what was said in the email. The subjects of God's anger before the cross and what is different now after the cross were discussed. The most poignant, thought provoking moment is when Mike points out that if God could resolve his anger towards humanity, now that we are joined with God because of the cross, that gives us hope to find peace with ourselves - each other.
This week, the Gospel Revolution Powercast is a special excerpt from a teaching series recorded at a conference in Gainesville, Georgia entitled "Redemption of the World (2013). This was an updated series Mike Williams did after his original series nearly a decade before of the same title. In this particular session, Mike hits on all the basics of the redemption of all humanity and compares them to how they are presented in traditional Christianity. You can find the link to this entire series on our website.
